THE BRIEF
In 2021, Škoda UK was preparing to launch the ENYAQ iV, their first all-electric SUV, marking a significant step in their transition to electric mobility. The objective was to create a digital campaign that not only showcased the vehicle's innovative features but also engaged a tech-savvy audience through mobile platforms.
I collaborated with the Executive Creative Director - Mark Elwood - during the early pitch phase, contributing ideas that would later shape the campaign's direction 'Robots'. The focus was on developing a mobile-first experience that highlighted the ENYAQ iV's design and technology, ensuring it resonated with a modern audience.
THE IDEA
Building upon the initial concepts, I played a pivotal role in crafting the campaign's digital assets. This included editing dynamic footage that emphasized the ENYAQ iV's sleek design and eco-friendly features. I also created a 3D rendering of the Škoda logo, integrating it seamlessly into the motion graphics to enhance brand recognition.
Additionally, I developed wordmarks and contributed to the overall brand aesthetic for the motion elements, ensuring consistency across all digital touchpoints. The campaign was designed to be immersive and interactive, encouraging users to explore the ENYAQ iV's features through their mobile devices.
THE RESULT
The campaign successfully elevated Škoda's digital presence, culminating in a Silver award at the 2022 Digital Impact Awards for Best Use of Mobile/App. The mobile-first approach led to increased user engagement, with a notable uptick in mobile traffic and interaction rates on Škoda UK's platforms.
The ENYAQ iV launch campaign not only introduced a new vehicle but also set a benchmark for Škoda's digital marketing efforts, demonstrating the effectiveness of integrating innovative design and technology in engaging modern audiences.
